Lorenzo and Earl-Ling:1st meet

Et une petite illustration de l'arrivée de Lorenzo dans la harde de Bren et, par la même occasion, c'est aussi la première rencontre entre Lorenzo (le bô gosse à la robe noire) et Earl-Ling (le semi-chauve avec les tâches).

Petite histoire : Lorenzo est le seul survivant (parmi les centaures) d'une terrible bataille qui a mis fin à la guerre entre les Grandes Terres et un pays limitrophe. Alors qu'il recherche de la nourriture, il tombe sur Brechna (la jument qui le retient par le bras), une amie, qui lui propose d'intégrer la harde de Bren (l'étalon à la hache) en tant que Sage guerrier (elle est elle-même Sage médecin). Mais Earl-Ling s'y oppose fermement parce qu'il s'avère que Lorenzo n'a aucune blessure pouvant attester de sa réelle participation au sanglant affrontement. Problème : Lorenzo est incapable d'expliquer ce phénomène. Il a perdu connaissance après avoir été criblé de flèches et s'est réveillé plusieurs jours plus tard sans la moindre égratignure. Malgré cet argument de poids, Bren n'apprécie que très peu l'intervention tapageuse d'Earl-Ling qui ne devrait pas s'exprimer face à un inconnu sans l'autorisation de son chef (autrement dit, Bren).

Voilà. Peut-être que je mettrais de la couleur, peut-être pas (on verra en fonction de mon temps libre et de mon niveau de fainéantise).

PS : dans le fond (de gauche à droite), il y a Jelena, Sanjo (tout petit), Zelda et Noésys.

Here is a little illustration of Lorenzo arrival in Bren’s herd and, in the same way it’s also the first encounter between Lorenzo (the handsome guy with the black coat) and Earl-Ling (the semi-bald one with the spots).

Story: Lorenzo is the only survivor (among centaurs) of a terrible battle that ended the war between the Great Earths and a neighboring country. While he was looking for food, he meet Brechna (the mare who catch his arm), a friend, who proposed him to get into Bren’s herd (the stallion with the axe) as a Wise warrior (she was already a Wise doctor). But Earl-Ling was strongly against this decision because Lorenzo didn’t have any injury proving that he had really participated to this bloody confrontation. Problem: Lorenzo is unable to explain this phenomenon. He passed out after he had received several arrows through his body and he woke up some days later without any scratch. Despite this argument full of meaning, Bren didn’t appreciate a lot Earl-Ling’s noisy intervention especially because he mustn’t speak without his leader authorization (as Bren).

Maybe I’ll put it in colors, maybe not (we’ll if I have enough free time and if I’m not too lazy).
